POLYSTUOIA 20 and POLYSTUOIA 20 L are geocomposites for the drainage of foundations, roof gardens, tunnels, man-made reservoirs and for the protection of waterproofing systems.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
POLYSTUOIA 20 and POLYSTUOIA 20 L are geocomposites comprising two UV-stabilized, needle-punched polypropylene staple-fibre filter geotextiles with a 3-dimensional drainage structure sandwiched between them made up of polypropylene monofilaments. The two geotextiles are heat bonded to the drainage core using a continuous process. The POLYSTUOIA 20 and POLYSTUOIA 20 L drainage core’s high void ratio is effective in draining away water, while the properties of the polypropylene textiles successfully separate the soil from the drainage structure and filter the water inside. POLYSTUOIA 20 and POLYSTUOIA 20 L meet the requirements of standard EN 13252, drainage systems.
WHERE TO APPLY
POLYSTUOIA 20 and POLYSTUOIA 20 L are used as drainage layers, laid either vertically or horizontally, in the construction of foundations, roof gardens, tunnels and man-made reservoirs. They also act as a protective layer when laid over synthetic waterproofing membranes and polymer bitumen membranes.
